Campers stay in the Brown Barn in one large area including staff and all other campers. Living together in a structured environment encourages camaraderie, teamwork, personal responsibility, and meaningful connections among campers. Camp staff supervise the housing areas and help maintain a safe, respectful, and organized atmosphere throughout the program. (Boys on one side, girls on the other) The dining experience is designed to support Camp Spartan’s focus on discipline, self-reliance, and physical development. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday: (8 meals) Campers bring their own MRE meals for the first three days of camp. These meals must be ready to eat and cannot require heating, hot water, or cooking equipment. This portion of the program introduces campers to a military-style dining experience while emphasizing preparation, responsibility, and adaptability. Wednesday through Friday: Camp-provided, protein-rich meals are served to help fuel campers through the program’s demanding workouts, hikes, obstacle challenges, and team activities. Meals are designed to provide the energy and nutrition needed for active days, recovery, and overall performance. Families will receive additional meal guidelines and packing requirements before camp so campers arrive prepared for the full experience.

It is where Spartan was born and where transformation continues to happen. Set in the rugged Vermont town of Pittsfield, the farm is surrounded by mountain trails, rivers, and backwoods terrain, the ideal setting for young Spartans to disconnect from everyday distractions, reset their mindset, and discover what they can do beyond their perceived limits. Just 15 minutes from Killington, Pittsfield offers remarkable mountain scenery and a welcoming community rooted in Spartan values. While campers take on purposeful challenges under the guidance of experienced coaches, parents can enjoy the area’s hiking, dining, and natural beauty.

Please plan to arrive at least 60 minutes before your start time. This gives you plent of time to park, pick up your registration packet, drop your stuff at bag check, and get warmed up. Registrations typically open at 6:00am. For Ultra events, registrations will open at 5:00am. For Hurricane Heat and Trail events, registrations will open 1 hour prior to the event&#x27;s start time. For further details, please refer to the Racer Guide which will be posted to this page 1 week before the event and emailed to all registered racers. Volunteers, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your allocated shift time. Your exact start time is listed on your registration confirmation barcode.
